Spirit of Electricity

3-d printed stamp tiles are inspired by a Deco sculpture created in 1929 by the artist, Sylvia Shaw . Located on the Commonwealth Edison power substation in downtown Chicago’s infamous “Block 37”. The sculpture is a male figure standing with legs apart, arms raised, and each hand grasping a lightning bolt.
